Current Nightly Builds
Nightly Builds are build from the latest and possibly untested sourcecode. therefore they can be unstable.
The most players play with the current nightly build.
Current Stable Version
Version 0.9.5 for Windows
Tested on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10
If you have performance issues, please install the current driver for your graphicscard!
Extract the ZIP-file in a directory and copy "DATA" and "GFX" directory from the original game (or original cd) into the same directory.
You can play the game via s25client.exe. You can run an automatic update to the latest stable version via rttr.bat.
The current stable version as full download.
"The Settlers II Gold Edition"® is required.

These packages have to be installed (i.e per package management):
libsdl2 libsdl2-mixer
Extract the archive into a directory (i.e /opt/s25rttr).
You have to put the files of the original game into /opt/s25rttr/share/s25rttr/S2
You start the game via rttr.sh.
